Tribhuvan University likely to publish Bachelor 2nd year Examination schedule tomorrow

The annual examination of faculties of Science, Management, Humanities, Law and Education of Bachelor Second year are likely to be held from Chaitra 19. According to Tribhuvan University official source, the examination schedule is likely to publish tomorrow.

 

According to the rule, Tribhuvan University publish the routine atleast a month prior to conducting examination. Tribhuvan University has already published that they will be conducting the Bachelor second year examination on Chitra.

 

As the Free Students union election was scheduled for April, there was rumours that the second year exam might get affected, but with the publishment of examination schedule, its confirmed that Tribhuvan University Exam controller office will be conducting examination on pre published date.

Scholarships for Disabled Students

In Nepal, disabled children are often seen as cast-offs, as pariahs, or as punishment for “sins” of the family. They seldom have an opportunity to prove themselves as productive members of society. Only 30% of disabled people are educated; the rest are relegated to barren lives, unable to read, write, or earn a living.
From its inception, NYF has paid special attention to these children, whether they are blind or deaf, suffering from conditions such as cerebral palsy, or have other challenges. If they can enter regular school or college, we enroll them there. (Both J and K House have disabled children.) For yet other children, the best place is a special school program that gives them hope and independence.
We love giving disabled youngsters a chance to prove their intelligence and capability – and to proudly learn to support themselves.
We have been working with blind children particularly since NYF was founded in 1990, in the form of scholarships and training programs. Some of the students we started to support in grade school are now in college and even graduate school. No one else in Nepal supports disabled students in college as NYF does.

L.A. Schools Promote Free Tutoring for Some Students

"We want youngsters who participate in this program to get something that will improve their reading, math or language test scores," said John Liechty, associate superintendent in charge of extended-day programs for the school district.
L.A. Unified parents can choose from 26 public and private providers of tutoring services, including Sylvan Education Solutions, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Huntington Learning Centers. The school district also is providing free tutoring, on Saturdays, through its Beyond the Bell Learning Centers.
Students can get as much as 100 hours of free tutoring through next August, depending on the provider, officials said.
The school district has budgeted $47 million of federal Title I money for the initiative, enough to pay for about 47,000 students, at roughly $1,000 apiece, administrators said.
Last year, the first time the free service was offered, just 10,000 of 164,000 eligible students took advantage of it.
